Portforward as well as every other site that shows your ip address shows the same address for me. Unfortunately, they're all wrong. Use the ip address from command prompt. I, also, am unable to gain access to my router with admin as the password. Try entering password as the password as well as your username or your username/password. Using password is all that I've found to open my router settings.

admin is the password, there is NO login name. Leave the first blank EMPTY and enter "admin" in the second, minus the quotes.

That info should be easy to find in your router manual, or online @ the router manufacturers site.

Try admin as the username and your ISP password as the password.

Send your router manufacturer an email. They will be able to fix you up.

Look for a "reset" button on the router. Hold it in with a paperclip or whatever you can until all the lights flash, then let go. A hard reset resets the password.

Then, it should be one of the previous combinations. If you still can't get it, PM me your IP address, and I'll figure it out for you.

Router IP doesn't help me. I need your REAL IP, which will not begin 192.x.

http://www.whatismyipaddress.com/

will tell you if you can't find it elsewhere.

Do NOT post it here, PM it to me if you want.

:)

and thanks for the props Misty, I appreciate it.

i got a new router from one of my friends.I can now go into the router settings with username admin and password blank, but i dont know how to do the port forwarding.i tried doing it but still Azereus tells me DHT firewalled and there is a NAT error.

Well i was reading some forums and found out that 6881-6889 is blacklisted and doesn't work anymore,so i used 16881-16889 in the router settings if i am right.

I have also turned off XP firewall and added ports 16881-16889 in the advanced settings of my connection.

Well the download speed is still slow.is there a way to find out that i have done the router settings right?
