ok, so i ahve tryed all sorts of sotware to ripp a dvd on to my computer and have been succesful. but the thing is, they all rip it to .vob files. i do not want alot of VOB files. i want one mpeg file so that i can watch it on windows media plyer. is there a way so that i can rip them with a certian (free) sftware and get them not to be VOB files. so taht i can watch them.
i guess the real question is how do i get a dvd from the dvd onto my creative zen mp3 player? i want them to be mpeg so taht i can just drag them from the computer onto the zen. please help me. im losing my mind and i only have 4 days till my trip to germany and i want them on there so i can watch them.

As far as I know, if you rip a DVD it yeilds VOB files. What you want is to turn a DVD into a Zen compatible video. Well, I don't own a Zen so I can't help you much. If I'm not mistaken, you can go to WWW.SLYSFOT.COM and download fully fucntional trials of AnyDVD, Clone DVD and Clone DVD Mobile. That combination must produce the video you are looking for.
