Sony's should probably work for ya. Hopefully, they are 8X??
If it doesn't, go with your thought on some 8X Yudens. Definitely can't go wrong there!

Use RITEK G05 discs, much better media with deep colored dye. Personally dont rate Taiyo Yuden.
Always 1st with 100% working PS2 Online Game DNA$ IDs!!

I'm not sure what went wrong with the read process, but my iso is 3.44GB. I forgot this, but my iso is the "Black Edition", so I'm not sure what the variance would be.
You could try reading it with Nero...if you have it.

the reason for the smaller size is the compretion and with its fill with dummy/rubbish it = nothing when rar but when you extrat it will be in full size its the rubbish that causes most of the problems

What mod are you using to boot the game? Modchip? Swapmagic??
What Ver PS2? Maybe your PS2 doesn't like +R disc and they need to be booktyped to DVD-ROM
Another thing is that there are 2 editions of the game
The Original Edition and the Black Edition
maybe it has something to do with what Edition you have??

i just backed up a NFS Most Wanted game for ps2...and i used Sony made in Japan dvd's...(taiyo yudens) and i ripped it then i burned it on 4X, the DVD is 8X (with DVD Decrypter)...everything is fine, ripping and burning was successful
my problem is that when im racing, "DURING" the race...(while im actually playing) the game like says loading, like its tryin to load the in-game graphics...(as im playing) like on the right side of the screen while im playing, so i gotta wait till it loads, it says Loading with those 3 colors flashing, then i can play, then i gotta wait as it loads again...has anyone experienced this problem?...what should i do? should i rebuild the game? or do something else?
