error on xbox 360 when i put game in.

I just got my xbox 360 and i git 2 games for it. sometimes when i put a game in it says put this game in a xbox 360 to play game. But it is in a xbox 360. So i have to restart my xbox 360. How can i fix this?

I have the same problem my man. I have had my 360 for a few months and it is only starting to do this to me now. I figured it was just my copy of GRAW because it has a few surface scratches but it has since done this to me on a couple other games. Glad I got the two year extended warranty.

yeh i got the warranty as well, i got lucky because the warranty the system comes with had already expired so they werent trying to tlet me do it but as ive learned in life just b!tch about it and if your the customer you'll always win unless your dealing with sony.how much the warranty run ya? $59.20 for mine,im sure yours was the same but you never know..

Its weird I just found what that if I stand my xbox 360 I get that problem. If i leave it sitting it never comes up. WHat could be wrong?

Good question. Not sure why it would do that. I used to have mine standing and it never had the "put the disc in a 360" error however it would freeze up on me from time to time. I have since bought the intercooler and have the 360 lying flat and have had no freezing problems since the change. A couple of months later though I am now getting the "put in 360" error.

Not sure how much I ended up paying for the warranty. I think it was like $70 canadian or something like that. It was through Best Buy. My question is do I have to call Microsoft or do I just take it straight to Best Buy?? I'm assuming BB but I always hear of people phoning microsoft etc. Thing is if I were do go through BB I wouldn't get a free game or anything for my troubles like many others have going through MS.

i got a 1 year warrenty for only $29.95. IF you go to bestbuy they wont gave you a free game for your trouble.
