my ide cable slot broke when i was pulling it out ..it seems that one og the metal snapped. well is there any way i could install a new hd without backing up the files from the hd i broke because it wont start up..can i buy any from somewhere ..let me know

not ym ide cabnle ..its my hd , the solder spread to all the pins and i tried to take it off but snaped some metal from the pin :(

so did you backup eeprom and C and E drive to PC yet?
If not, try to boot it up again. Install Config Magic to xbox. Then run it and backup eeprom. Then FTP everything in C and E drive to PC. This way you can build the new hdd for xbox.

i dont think my computeer will read it..becasue if it wont read it from my xbox wht makes u sure my computer will
