Hijack cleaned up... how do I return Windows and Explorer back to normal?

Hello,

I posted a thread about my IE being hijacked. That's all fixed now, but I have two new minor issues:

1) Whenever Windows boots up, I get a Windows Explorer window that comes up pointing to c:\windows\system32. It's really only a click away from being gone, but how can I prevent this from occurring at every bootup?

2) When I click on the Search button at the top of IE (version 6.0), a toolbar down the left side of the window opens up (as normal). However, nothing comes up inside the window. I looked in the registry, and it seems the registry entry for the search bar is gone, but I have no idea how to create a new entry and point it to say msn search or google.com.

Can anyone help?
