hi im new here and i was wondering if some1 could tell me how to change your firmware with devhook and on umd emulator do u have to do anything to your 'iso' files b4 using them b/c whenever i try and use them it freezes and if i use the menu to go to the umd it freezes then aswell. thnx in advance pspeter

hi well i tried to run wipeout pure an prince of persia


oh and i ran it on dalkstalkers and gta : LCS

They both run on umdemulator 0.8c set on direct load.

Darkstalkers Chronicle also runs on umdemulator set on direct load.

Fror GTA you will also need mphgameloader, when you have this set up you should set umdemulator to system menu which will take you back to the psp main menu, then select mphgameloader and the game will run.

no i jus tried running the iso wipeout on gta but nothing it just stalled again is there something im supposed todo to the iso before i run it?

You don't use GTA...you need Firmware 1.50 to run ISO games.

Download UMD Emualtor from psp-hacks.com

Then put the nessesary files in the correct directories of your PSP. After that load up UMD Emulator on your PSP in Game>Memory Stick... Once UMD Emualtor Loads you select the ISO which is wipeout pure and put the ISO Emulation: Direct Load. Then you have Flash0: ON and press start at the bottom. Then the game should show up at the UMD screen.

I am telling you to put GTA away as you DON'T NEED IT!

AND THEN FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS THAT I GAVE YOU IN MY LAST POST:

Also while loading wipeout pure you need a disc in the UMD because your trying to load an ISO and GTA will do just fine...so follow the steps above and keep GTA in your UMD drive...and I AM not trying to get you to load GTA rather wipeout pure. Alse read some threads on this topic, if this is the first time you need to read up on some things before asking.

Select umdemulator on your psp. Set ISO emulation to Direct load, set flash0 to off and select start. This is some really basic stuff dude, you'd better get to grips with it if you ever wanna play the newest games and unlock the potential of your psp.
