Hello, my xbox has been freezing. what should i do. it is not near any thing. it is on a desk. thanks

hi there. My 360 was also freezing (about every 10 mins or so). All it was is the GPU overheating. You could send it back to microsoft of mod it youself with a small 8cm fan ontop of the GPU heatsink, thats wot i done :)

or you could try what i did.elevate your system. if you have it laying down horizontally try and put something under each 4 corners of the syste i.e i first used empty skoal containers(skoal is chewing tobbaco) and then i put something to elevate my power supply as well to keep heat from getting trapped under it. I now use vitamin bottle caps to elevate my system because their less bulky and get the job done, and under my power supply i put ciggarette boxes on oppostie ends. Youd think that i smoke or chew tobbacoo but i dont my friend is a computer science major and he usec=d the skoals to elevate his laptop. well anyways with all that said instead of not having my sstem and sending it off dor a couple of weeks it hasnt froze in over 8 months.but if you want your system to look good sned it in, caps under it isntvisually pleasing
