hi everyone at afterdawn forums,
i recently backup up a few games using swap magic.
but when i play the back up games, i can hear my ps2 making load noises, such as reading the disk.
these noises are continuous, and it is like the backup is scratched and it isnt.
an expamle.
i was playing the orignal master copy of fifa 2006 and my ps2 loaded it fine, and during gameplay the game worked fine, and i couldnt hear any noises that the lens was making.
but when i put in the backup of fifa 2006 and loaded it, it makes sqeeky noises, but works fine.
i was just wondering, are the backup games making my lens weaker?
because my lens has too work harder to load them??
and should i switch to a mod chip then??
i am using swap magic 3.6 and i back up my games on sony 8x DVD-R media.
First I would try some better media (Burn at the lowest speed),
I used sony for a while they also made alot of nosie for me I pay about 1$ a disc for good verbatim media, Alot of games still click hear and there but not as bad.
(Fifa street 2 with the Patch makes alot of nosie for me.)
