VPN On iPaq....PC doesnt log on correctly

hi, i recently set up a virtual private network so that i could control my pc from my ipaq.

When i connected this (over the internet) i had to log in into my pc via ipaq and the pc logged off...this was ok

but since then when i turn on my pc...it doesnt ask for my login details it just loggs on??? i do have the password protect on my user account.. it does it when im not even using VPN

?
any ideas what it could be.
