I know now it is possible to lose your mind on these things~--Here's the problem-It's new and records and plays DVD- OR DVD-RW-No+ or DVDRAM--It will play my homemade cds and it will record and playback tv but it absolutely will not play my burned videos-I have tried Maxell-JVC-and TDK as it came with the unit-My computer is custom and new- 2 burners-actually 1.5-One burner is DVD/CD-RW-That one will burn cds only-the other burner is DVDRAM-The Pioneer will not play DVDRAM disks but should'nt it play a DVD- that was created with the DVDRAM?-I called Pioneer and they said it may be the DVDRAM is causing incopatability=-It also has something called CGMS-Copy General Management Systems-it's supposed to not play "illegal" videos-I am using 1 Click DVD Copy software-They are great people that bunch works hard for their money-great tech support-so-any ideas?-Ijust bought new media to try-SONY DVD-R-Is the burner bad?
