When i tried to install me sims 2 disk, i get an error message saying "a problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'TSData\res\sims3d\sims08.package' from the media do u want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation". I have tried saving it to my hard drive then installing in, but i get the same error message. HELP!!!!! thanks! ;)

this is happening because the disk may have surface scratches which have caused the data to become correct, it happened to my disk 3, even a repair spin didnt fix it, so you will have to get a new set of disks.
