i have 8x vert dvds. top quality and all yet my pa1 slim. about 1 year old is eadig my copies extra hard when it pays music or something on my hitman bloodmoney. is this normal or what

Yea im getting the same problem. When a music file is played from disc you can hear the laser searching for the track. This is happening with my back ups and my retail games, i'm not sure what's causing it to do this though, must be the laser?

It might be the laser.. But about Hitman, I've seen somewhere that Hitman needs alot of loading in the action, so this might be normal..

back-ups of blood money work the laser hard on everyone's ps2s, completely normal.

it doesnt matter if you r ps2 is a year old, if you constantly play scratched games - this will mess your laser up.
if you play games from cheap and rubbish media like memorex or imation etc etc. this will strain your laser more and will mess it up.
try cleanin your laser there are loadsa guides on AD. just use the search button.
i play a back up of hitman blood money and the game is as silent as original games. are you backing your games up properly.
