whats your favourite sports game ever on the ps2 and what are some of the reasons? Mine is fight night round three becasue its the best boxing game ever expecially on the 360 but the ps2 as well. You can make and customize your character or pcik to be a legend. Great game had lots of fun with it.

I absolutely love Fight Night Round 3 (played it on 360 and now I want, you guessed it, a 360 :D) and other games like Fifa and Nba Street look awesome (haven't played them unfortunately) but I'd have to say any of the NHL games from EAsports - I think it was NHL 2004. I liked it because there was heaps to do, as in the more matches you win the nicer the stuff you can have in your office lol and other easter eggs etc etc. But I really think that NHL (Ice Hockey in general) is the most enjoyable game that can be played on a console. And I'm Australian and we don;t even have a major hockey league! Thats saying something...

Anyways i just go to a video game like "microplay" doubt you heard of it over their but if i dont have a game they usally just have all these 360 games set up so i just play there hours on end. But i still believe fight night round 3 is the best sports game on the ps2 and probably 360 as well.

My favorite game of all time is ff8, although doesn't have the best story line and is pretty long. Even after playing it 4 years ago, I still can remember it clearly. Can't say that for the other games that i have played.

For sports games I really liked the Tiger Woods games. I have not got 2006 as it looked very similar to 2005, which I have and because it is such a big game with so many competitions etc to complete, it lasts for ages before you complete everything. I also liked the fact that you could improve your player by buying better clubs and other equipment with money which you had earned from competitions and sponsers. It was the first golf series which was serious and realistic but also fun to play.

i like fight night round 3 the best boxing game ever!!! amazing player graphics on the ps2!!!, rugby 2006 as you can do some cool torunaments and collect tropihys.NBA 2004 as it was fun to do career!! had lots of fun with NFL 2004 as i liked the customisation but not really my type of game.I had NHL 2003 crap for me but very realistic with the team overall percentage.but looking forward to playing all ea sport games at 2006.i played tiger woods golf,pretty good game but only had a chance to play demo.Overall i enjoyed fight night round 3 and rugby 2006 including other ea sport titles.

Fifa vs Pro Evo. If you look up any review you will see that pro ever wins everytime.
Ok Burnout is a good game but its not a sport's game
Konami is the better games developer

Ok Pro Evo is better its just not the best sports game. Besisdes you said EA sucks. If any one theinks EA sucks they dont know anything about video games because they make so many good titles like the godfather, black, need for speed series, burnout series, battlefield series, fifa series, like 5 other football series, the sims, basicly any other sports game they made for a video game, lord of the rings series, and much much more then that. And most of their games are great.

F1 series and fifa , top spin and yes ea is a great company for games i love evry one of thier games

There are lots of good sport games, each one in its sport genre.
My favourites are NBA Live 06, Pro Evolution Soccer 5, Madden NFL 06 and SSX On Tour.

Madden without a doubt,cause after playing NFL2k and then seeing Madden you can tell how much improvement there was between them both.I can't wait till 2007 comes out,gonna be playing that for a very long time.I think EA has the best game developers for sports games.Fight Night is alright,but I thought Knockout Kings the very last one they came out with was alot better.The graphics where not the best cause it was more animated,but the gameplay was fun as hell.Fight Night is just too slow for me,but the graphics are good.

I'd have to say Tiger Woods PGA Tour....2005, to be specific.
Not a fan of golf, but this game manages to keep me entertained from start to finish!

Been playing Ncaa Football ever since it first came out for the playstation so I'd have to say that this franchise is the best football game besides tecmo bowl for the nes hah.

pro evolutions just has everything. i love that game. 4 was the best and now 5 is superb. FIFA?? try fifa 2005 and you would hate all football.
