no devices detected after downloading Nero 6

Hello.

What version of Nero did you install?
What other DVD/CD software do you have installed?
Do no drives appear in the My Computer window?
Does Device Manager ID any drives?
1. Right click on My Computer and select Properties.
2. Click the Hardware tab.
3. Click the Device Manager button.
4. Expand the DVD/CD-ROM category by clicking the "+" symbol.
What devices appear listed?
Desktop or laptop system?
Did everything work OK prior to installing Nero?

Uninstall Nero with the Nero Clean Tool (choose one based on the version installed) and restart your system:

http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html

If that doesn't work, select a restore point back in time when everything worked.
