Maybe the key to break it is its demo it has of LocoRoco it has. Download it at Playstation underground.

The key to "cracking" a firmware is decrypting the .prx files. There is alot to be learned from decryped .prx's. And this has just been accomplished in the past few days.

Maybe, and A man so how did sony get a demo into a PSP then. I mean I download it to my computer and then you just hook up your psp and it does the rest.

Well you need the newest firmware to play sony demos. I imagine it would go into the PSP/GAME folder. I do not know as i have had a 1.5 psp since the first day of release.

It is but it is also under the same place of were you use devhook it says the name of the game but demo on it.

If you can run devhook I dont think you can run psp demos. I think you need firmware 2.71.

NO I have 2 PSP's 1 V. 1.5 and other in V.2.71. and the 2.71 says EBOOT.PBP for the demo

Yeah thats correct. I wish i could help you more but I do not know anything about running psp demos on firmware 2.71. I imagine it would go into the game folder and you would boot it like you boot devhook on your 1.5.

yeah it boots up like Devhook and its also in the games folder. you have to wonder how Sony got it there that is why that Demo is the key for 2.71

Yeah but thats the problem. That eboot sony created is signed sony code. When you mess with it and alter it in any way it changes the code for it and it becomes unsigned. They thought about that ahead of time. So do u got a bricked psp or know someone with one.

I'm now trying to figure out how to do the same thing for the Kazuo Demo.
