japanese xbox 360(100V)

Plese can anyone tell me if it's safe to use a japanese xbox 360 which is 100V in the country where i am(Mauritius),here the voltage is 230V.And of course i'm planning to use a power convertor for that(to convert the 230V into 100V).But i just want to know if it will be as same as if i use one standard 220-230V xbox 360(without the need to use any power convertor)?Or will it affect the machine in some way?
