ahh right sorry didn't read your post clearly last time, best thing to get is follow the guide I gave you above, create an image file using UltraISO (use this in place of Nero - I think the download is about 3mb so should take you about 10mins or so max?), then you can burn it with Alcohol 120%, DVD Decrypter, or you can also try ImgBurn (http://www.imgburn.com/ it's under 1mb) which is probably the best image burning program I've seen so far :)

got a model of your DVD writer? Most modern DVD writers are quite good, and HP ones shouldn't have a problem

The UltraISO interface is divided into two sections, top and bottom. The top part is blank and the bottom shows what's on your computer. Basically what you do is drag and drop files from the bottom part to the top section. Once you've dragged all the files needed into the top section, Click on save (File:Save) and this'll let you save it as an image file

can you take a snapshot of what's in your CD folder, also how many ROMs do you have in the folder? I know sometimes there's problem with the size of CD being too small, and you need a certain amount of data in the CD to make it work, I don't know if theend757 has mentioned this in his tutorial or not

Actually reading your post again, you sure your switch/key thing hasn't come loose? Have you tried to play your DVD backups and see if they still work?

Hmm can't really give you much more info on this unfortunately... I followed the guide before and it worked fine for me, my only other suggestion is to get hold of a copy of Nero and try using Nero on this, although I understand on dial up it'll take you a few hours to download it...
Having said that, for SNES games I play them on my computer anyway, the emulators for SNES are better developed for PC (Snestation stopped development a few years ago), check out ZSNES or SNES9x if you want to do that
