I just wanted to ask for some opinions on the level of difficulty for the 360 firmware mod. I am debating on doing it. I have already done it to my ps2 and xbox. But I dont think this mod compares to those. Any opinions?

Hi!just want to know what's really the difference between the samsung drive and the hitachi drive.Where does the hitachi can get bad, while performing the mod or after?(i.e,mod for the hitachi can be so complicated that there's great risk of damaging the drive)And what if the mod has been well done for the hitachi, does it still make it the bad drive compared to the samsung?
Just want to know about these stuffs because i'm planning to get myself the 360 but just in case there's no 360 with the samsung drive, then i'll have no choice than to get one using hitachi drive.
Thanks.

It's a bigger risk than the Sammy drive.

It is in PDF format,
Covers both Samsung and Hitachi drives.
(Includes a resistor fix instead of simply switching the wires,
That way you have less chance to 'brick' your 360 console.)
If you cant figure it with this you might
as well just hang it up all together.
Cheers!
