Hello, i own a legal copy of the asia pacific version of madden 06 but that does not have online play. SO i was wondering is their a fix or something i can download so i can play (its a PAL game so).

Also i was just wondering about the american dns for online play for madden. Does that accept asia pacfic id's or not. Could i also ask is it possible for more 1 player to have the same dns for online?

Cheers.

Although you should of searched the forum for your answers, which have been posted before, I will reply to your questions;

Presumably, since you've got a legal copy of the asia version of Madden, then you're in an asian country (NTSC/J).
To play any game online from another country (NTSC/UC or PAL) you need to have;
1. A copy of the game for that region (if its a backup, then it needs to be patched with the correct disc id for that game in that region).
2. Either; a console from that region, or change the internal id of your current console to that region, which can only be done on v1-v8 consoles (the old 'fat' style)

Games cannot be patched with a dna$ that isn't from the region the game is from. So you can't patch a NTSC/UC game with an NTSC/J id.

Finally, yes, it is VERY possible for more than one person to have the EXACT same disc id, since discs are pressed in batches & NOT individually.

EDIT: If you need anymore info, then search the other topics covering online play.

Im australian homes its PAL. I will obtain the madden ntsc/uc version. Now i here that ea sports doesnt check your console because its not a offical ps2 thing like socom and such so from what i understand i can play online correct? Or would i need some special us sony registration thing to connect to the networks.(a friend i no says he can create a new username for madden anytime he wishes so from that i guess its just a disk check thing huh.

As I've already said; If you are in a PAL territory, and wish to play an NTSC game online, you will still need to change your console's internal region ID, as DNA$ will check for region, regardless of who produces the game. If you don't do this, then you will get an 833 region error when you try to connect.

Smackdown v Raw & Burnout use Universal servers, so you will of been able to connect to your friends in the US, but they will of been using an NTSC version of the game & you will of had a PAL version of the game.

You can find 'Paradox Machine ID Changer' (and an Xcel spreadsheet with instructions & partial console IDs for other regions consoles) in the downloads section of backupscene, accessable from the left-hand NavBar of the main page.

Once you change your ID, then you will of created a PAL/NTSC Hybrid Machine. Meaning you can play BOTH NTSC or PAL games online, without the need to change your ID back to its original coding.
As I said though, the ID Changer is ONLY compatible with the old 'fat' PS2s. If you have a slimline, then you won't be able to change IDs.

Please though, if you have any further questions, then use SEARCH, as this has been all covered before

I don't think you can change the id on a v9 (well, you can but it doesn't save). From what I know the latest one that you could do it on is either a v7 or v8 and I'm about 95% sure it was a v7.

NTSC DNAS threads.

Ok now ive determined that the console does not require a region thing because other ea games have international support and they all end up at the same place. Now i made a copy of madden at just on 100% i thought f*** i forgot to dnas it.

Anyways i went online to see what would happen and then it seraches my memory card and says i don't have a account. Gives me the option of going back to main menu or creating a account. I got to create a account, i see some sorta screen then it goes blank for about 10 seconds then im left with the insert a ps2 format disk this is not a valid disk shit.

SO i mean ill re-burn with the dnas but does that mean wat i think it means, i only need the dnas?

ok i was told that the reason is cut's off is because if you don't have a ea sports online account on ur memory card then itll do some check. I burned 2 copies of this games with the 2 different patches under different codes.

Anyways it ended up the one where u auto patch and don't need 2 inject dnas files had a really slow loading time but eventually got their. I clicked online then it said loading for memory card and i didnt have the file it wanted.

Anyways same thing happened again where it took me 2 a screen but this time it just stalled so i got a proper read.

It was asking for my network setting and asking me to create a online account but it froze.

SO ive come to a conclusion so far that i need a memory card file so i can load it up.

Anyone no how i can extract a save file from a memory card and put it on pc then retrieve it then put it back onto my memory card?

Cheers. (sorry if it sounds confusing but im like half drunk ey :) )

You're going to need to go get a save file of someone else's account info. Basically, get someone that has a copy with the online mode enabled and have them to create an account for you, confirm it, and upload you the ealogin save file. And then pray they don't also use it to screw up your record.

HMm ill get someone 2 do that but how is it done is my first question.

My second question is i noticed my network cable was unplugged when i just tried the online thing and it done the same thing st8 after clicking create a new account. It went to the setup thing, froze for a moment, went blank for 10 seconds then the ps2 determined it was a fake dvd.

So yer..
