Nat Error - Due to IP address?

Hi all, I'm having some rough time trying to forward my dsl modem. I've looked at www.portforward.com and used the guide to create a static ip address. I type it into my browser, and it times out saying it cannot be found. I would like to get rid of the NAT Error, please help!

- After reading around, I learned that you don't need to setup a static ip address if you don't have more than one computer on your network. So after being said what can I do?

- After reading around some more, I believe I answered my own question, and that is my ISP (Coastal Communications) doesn't have static ip address' with the home accounts?

I'm confused on all this please help.

If you're still confused, go to the same site and check out the p2p tutorials section, there are 2 specifically about IP addresses and 1 specifically about IP addresses as they apply to p2p.

If you're still lost, post back, and we'll go from there.
