Ok, I've downloaded 2 star wars games off of blackcats and am having problems. I have a duo chip and used TY's with DVD Decrypter and Alcohol

1. Battlefront- I unrared it and it is 2.21 gigs, but it looks like a dvd rip. this will not boot in my ps2. Plus its PAL and won't convert with paltontsc which gives the message "not a valid ps2 CD/DVD." Why won't this boot or be recognized by paltontsc patcher? It can be patched with adr patcher, but still won't boot when put into ps2

2. Jedi Starfighter- It is a damaged rar file, so I used the par files, which when complete say to "join" instead of "repair", but it does it successfully and you end up with a 1.84 gig file. DVD Decrypter says this is not a supported image and Alcohol says this also. It is unable to be converted to iso with magiciso. When I try to burn it with alcohol it is too big for a cd(which I think it is) and won't burn to dVD.

Anyone having this problem or have any suggestions?

You should ask where you downloaded the pirated material.
Afterdawns policies (forum rules) do NOT allow the discussion of pirated material.
Backup games YOURSELF you legally own.
No one here is going to help you.

I agree downloading games is considered piracy, you'd be better off to bring this to a forum that lets you talk about pirated stuff (e.g. the blackcats forum)
