@SOCOMII
Did not check there but if they have Taiyo Yuden or verbatim medias,i would recommend you these two.First choice goes to the taiyo medias and next the verbs(still excellent ones).
Any media which is coded as CMC is crap media and should not let them near your burner!
Vincent.

Fuji 8X Made in Japan will code out as TYG-002 disks,
Sony MIJ, white octagonal spacres, also made in Japan will also code out as Taiyo Yuden, $60 for 100 Verbs is high, Best Buy has them on sale for $14.99 per 50,you can find this weeks sales events listed here.
http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/0/363316#2155684
Also, if you have an Office Depot near you they are a cheap source for their own branded DVD disks, if you have patience, they offer 100 packs for $19.99 per 100 packs. In the 16X speed, they + code out as RICOH JPN, the - will code out as Ritek, both are good, but neither are as good as the Verb-TY combo most AD members redcommend.
Personally I have had success with all of the above mentioned disks, but the personal preference is for the TY disks.

Not sure if this is just an American Best Buy sale or not, from what neck of the woods do you come from? Judging from the URL you posted that would be Canada. If you can still find the Fuji8X MIJ, they are the good stuff people around here drool over, I think the TYG-002 disks are the favorite of the majority of AD diskophilles. In my book, they are the best media available today, just getting harder to find due to everyone jumping into the 16X pool. Supermediastore.com is a reliable source of Taiyo Yuden disks, not sure if they ship internationally though. I hope that this helps.

The 8X are much better, Taiyo Yuden (Made in Japan remember, not made in Taiwan) The 16X are Prodisc I think, not sure about it. but the 8X are the prime choice here.

FutureShop has effective July 14 2006 the 100 pak DVD-R and DVD+R of VERBATIM on sale.
They are an excent buy and coded as MCC which is grade A media. As a rule always burn at 4x. Event though they can go to 16x. 4x is better.

I got a pack of 100 DataWare 8x DVD-R's and they are great. They were from Future Shop and only cost $14.99 Canadian. I use a BenQ DVD burner and burn everything at 4x. I have gone thru quite a few now and haven't had any problems at all. I would recommend these to anyone.

Hi there,
I don't gamble with media.
I also live in Canada, and only buy Taiyo Yuden from http://www.blankmedia.ca
I did get some Verbatim in a local FutureShop but that's it.
Other media are too much of a gamble.
My 2 cents...

i have tried just about all of them except for TYs. i just havent ever ordered any, and you cannot find them in any store. every movie i have which is well over 700, i have used Verbs. i have some that are 2 years old and they still work just as good today as they did the day i burned them. dont take the chance, unless you are experimenting like i have.
