I am new to posting in the forums but have lurked in the shadows for a while. I have a problem with my modded Xbox, I've had this modded Xbox for about 3 years now with no problems and just recently started having this problem. I would start my xbox and it would load very slowly and once it arrived to the Menu screen where the Games, APPS were, the up and down menu scrolling would go very slowly and I had a Simpsons spinning evolutionx in the background that would rotate very slowly and choppy. Once I got to the games area in the menu and loaded a game, the game would play just fine, at normal speed! I figured maybe a hard drive malfunction so I replaced the hard drive and installed Slayers setup instead of the evo. and it too was slow also! Think it could be the mod chip? I'm open to all sugggestions! Thanks in advance for any help!
I thought about the Memory and CPU also but wouldn't the gameplay suffer as well? Also, I just tried FTP'ing some games over and now the Xbox wont accept or give an IP address the settings screen comes up with no link. I have made no changes to the congfiguration of my PC or xbox settings for FTP'ing . It should still work?
