Hi, I have encountered this spyware/virus on my computer. I tried using norton antivirus to clean it but it doesnt seem like its working. This virus redirects my homepage into some website that i have never seen before, and says that i have got W32.Myzor.FK@yf on my computer. I have read another thread that has this, but i didnt have the antivirus software that they had, so i was wondering if u could help me from the start. Thank you in advance.

Download SmitfraudFix.zip to your desktop -> http://siri.urz.free.fr/Fix/SmitfraudFix.zip
Unzip it (folder named SmitFraudFix) to your desktop:
Open the folder SmitfraudFix and doubleclick smitfraudfix.cmd
Choose option #1 - Search by typing 1 and pressing "Enter"; a textfile opens and lists the infected files (if those exist)

Open HijackThis, do a system scan only and check this:
O21 - SSODL: cholecyst - {ee2975b6-e8d5-405e-8448-8fe9590f6cfb} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\mzoeut.dll (file missing)
and click fix cheked.
Restart your computer to the safemode -> http://www.pchell.com/support/safemode.shtml
When in safemode, open SmitfraudFix folder and doubleclick the file smitfraudfix.cmd
Choose option #2 - Clean by typing 2 and pressing "Enter" in order to remove the infected files.
You are asked: "Registry cleaning - Do you want to clean the registry ?"; answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter" in order to remove your desktop wallpaper and the infected registry keys.
The tool checks if wininet.dll file is infected. You might be asked to replace the infected .dll (if found); answer "Yes" by typing Y and press "Enter".
The tool might have to restart your computer; if it won't do it, restart your computer back to normal mode.
A textfile will appear after the cleaning process, copy this file and paste it to here.
Tha log is saved to your local diskdrive, usually C:\rapport.txt.
Post also a new HijackThis log.

Open HijackThis, do a system scan only and check these:
O2 - BHO: (no name) - {873eb32d-ae1a-4183-89bd-45a77f761be4} - C:\WINDOWS\system32\ixt0.dll (file missing)
O20 - Winlogon Notify: winwea32 - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winwea32.dll
Close all other open windows and click fix cheked.
Download Pocket Killbox to the desktop
http://www.downloads.subratam.org/KillBox.exe
Start Killbox place a tick next to [x]Delete on reboot
Copy this into the windows clipboard, all the Bolded below. (ctrl+c or right click -> copy)
C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\winwea32.dll
Back in Killbox go > file > paste from clipboard,
Click the red highlighted X button and say yes to the prompt to restart the pc
After restart post a new HijackThis log.
