I downloaded a game image from a torrent site and in the title it says dvd rip. It's 820 MB in size. This should be burned onto a cd or dvd? Because when i try to burn it onto dvd in DVD Decrypter i get this.

Please advice. Thank you.

Yes I agree if its a dvd rip it should fit on a 800mb cd but if you want to use a dvd its quite simple to convert. Use DVDscan 3.7 to restore media checks back to dvd and genie's iml2iso to change that .bin to .iso

yep just select restore, in options select patch automaticly, uncheck the create report option(saves on cleaning up) and then scan the files one by one, when it says it doesnt need to be scanned just click no and scan the next. Usually only the SLES/SLUS and one other file will need to be restored but check em all. Then use genie's iml2iso and open your patched file then hit the bin2iso icon and wait.
get em both here> http://ps2burns.host.sk/tools.html

Edit> To answer your question, .bin is a cd format and .iso is a dvd format.
