Ok, I believe I have the correct forum and my question isn't easily answered by the sticky threads. So.

I just recently got a fliptop ps2 with swap magic. Works great, except for my recently burned DragonQuest VIII. Game burned fine, it's just that I can't read anything the characters say as the video display is cut off. I've noticed some other games have a "HZ" option before loading, 50 or 60 (I believe DQ8 is displaing at 50 and should be 60) but I can't figure out any way to change the HZ for this game. I was wondering if there was possibly a convenient front-end program for this I could get? Or maybe something simpler I'm just overlooking? Thanks.

Change the video settings in swap magic load screen to PAL and see if that fixes it, if not try NTSC video setting.. if neither works then you'll have to patch it with NTSC2PAL.. available from my "programs" thread http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/292163

Ok thanks, I have tried all different video modes it actually only come in correctly on... damn I forgot if it's PAL or NTSC. Either way I'll give it a shot.
