DVD Sound volume low on playback

I ripped several clips from a dvd using shrink and then used Nero Vision Express 3 to burn the VOB files to disc. My problem is on playing the dvd back the sound volume is really low and I have to turn my tv up full to get normal level. Why is this and how can I resolve it?

Hello.

Try using TMPGEn Author and see if you have the same problem.

http://tmpgenc.pegasys-inc.com/en/download/tda16.html (fully functional free trial)

Create New project
Select first track
Import DVD video
Add new track if you want the clips separated and repeat steps above or add another DVD video to the first track if you want clips merged.
When finished importing, edit, create menu, etc.

In Nero Vision Express 3 you Have to right click the clip and go to Edit and when your in edit you right click to go to video Properties then there will be a bear slid it to increase the volume but remember to do it for all the clips hope that helps
