I am helping a friend clear this virus off of their computer. I've run ad aware, Spybot search and destroy, and scanned using norton antivirus. I read in some of these threads that people run a hijak this. But when I went to download it, there was a warning that I could ruin the OS with it. I don't want to cause more harm. I am following the directions from a website called "Precise Security." They recommended downloading Webroot Spy Sweeper. Now my friends computer is turning itself off.

I'm trying to reboot in safe mode, but it isn't listed as an option on the boot page. Please help.
