Does anyone know if Madden or College Football is going to have the vision cone passing system in the game again? I hated that feature

They both will have it. NCAA 07's demo is on the marketplace now. It has cone vision, but it only comes on when you hit the right analog like in Madden 06 for 360.

Beeftaco i hated to but once you keep working with it you will love it because you can put the ball in a places where DB cant get it.EX: if i have a WR running a 5 yard curl when you throw the ball just put it up high and most of the time the DB will over play it or be out of postion to make a play.Hang in there.

Yeah i know you turn it off but I was wondering like for online play if I will be forced to use it or if I dont use it, I wont be any good at passing. I am currently downloading the demo now. I guess I should just suck it up and get used to it then, if it is gonna be apart of every year now

qb vision is the greatest thing added to madded, its the whole reason i liked the 06 version. No longer can you make a last second random pass when you're about to get saced. Its more realistic and props go to madden for that.

YO, thats why they have the bluff feature. I tool my friend in madden because he looks wheni pick plays and i'll select a play with 5 wideouts and then pick a pass and then go fake select a run play and he comes out in the wrong formation...U must not be a madden person if you didnt know the bluff feautre existed

Nah I didn't like it on the 360. Madden 06 was basicly a demo for the 360.

gameplay was good just lacked the challenge mode. It had a lot less of the glitches that ps2 and xbox had with bouncing off people and corny things of that nature.that crap ran amuck in the ps2 version to the point where i didnt even want to play it anymore.BUt every thing outside that likle franchise and all that did suck on the 360...07 has fixed all that so its gonna be great

Have fun with that.seems like a ripoff to me but hey to each his own.In response to what someone said above how in order to activate the vision cone in madden you have to flick the right stick...you dont have to do it that way you can also set it pre-snap by holding don the left trigger and selecting the wideout you want to highlight and when you hike the ball it will go immediately to that player.Also another random fact instead of having to push the b buttom to change you player and if you mess up push it like a hundered times to cycle back to the player if you just hold the B button you can use the pad or joystick and just direct it to the player you want to be pre-snap (on defense is what im speaking of) and it saves time.

Lets keep the madden talk going we've got less than a month til the number 1 selling football frnachise releases and all people talk about is hacking and firmware all damn day besides the xbox 360 games thread all the other ones should be seperated into a hacking section like they do for ps2 and xbox, im a little dissapointed in Afterdawn for letting this go on this long...taints a great site

well your into to that type of stuff so doesnt it annoy you that hacking and firmware doesnt have its own section?I mean it does for the other consoles but this only next gen system out doesnt have its own hacking section thats kind of corny.I mean the 360 forum hardly ever even has discussions about any of its top games or new releasing games its either hacking or ps3 vs 360,hey well i guess its just me.I mean saints row is coming,madden 07 is coming,gears of war and so on but all is talked about is hacking or comparisons and ps3 isnt even out yet.i mean theres freedom of speech so in the end what i say doesnt matter but im just saying it for what its worth. all the game threads end up stopping at like 15 posts.theres no hype around games or upcoming features and isnt that the reason yall hack is to play games?So lets talk about the games that are the purpose for wanting to hack the system to play back-ups or whatever.MAdden is one of them and its a great title but i must admit its slippin,i mean were in year 17 and theres no gag tackling.

Its not confirmed but they havent listed it as a new feature and ive watched like 4 videos of 07 and none of them had anything outside of the single tackels which is corny because single tackeles are a rarity in the nfl compared to gang tackling thats why they have half stas.R u a big fan of the madden series? Im guessing thats they have the hitstick to try and compensate for no gang tackling but who know its getting out of hand with thme having so many basic things lacking. I mean linebackers stay with speedy wideouts on fly patterns and the list goes on of stupid things, they have no momentum control,too many times they jusmp and catch the ball and stumble forward out of bounds and stumble like 6 yards. Nfl recievers cans top on a dime. Im happy they brought challengin plays back but its too inaccurate,they dont take many things into acoount,physics arent good enough to be accurate. they never call a penalty on P.I,they never call it when a wideout goes out of bounds and then comes back in to catch the ball. So many litle things that are basic but kill the authenticity.Hardly ever see sideline catchs or anything like the in the back of the endzone they just have no body control it seems and its frusterating that u can throw a hella pass and the wideout does have the body control to make it count. Just me venting because im a hardcore madden fan and they wont fix these simple issues.

Well there is one guy that can run with the Wr's and that is my boy Brian Urlacher! lol. But your right, gang tackling i am sure is not a feature because if it was, we would all know about it because it would be a huge deal. Using your hit stick to knock down a whole pile of people tackling someone would be so cool. Watch them have that on the PS3 version!! Then I would have get a PS3 asap instead of waiting till next summer or so like I originally planned. I am a huge Madden fan. But I only play str8. I hate the cheesers and glitchers that ruin the game

sounds good and i do just that play straight up. Hopefully they tweak alot. the game was to easy to figure out. like for example wr's on the left side of the field when jammed always released to the inside so right after the snap you could throw a quik5-10 yd pass everytime unless someone took their safety over their to stop it. and wr's on the right side of the field when jammed always released to the outside so if u throw it upfield a litte u can beat the db everytime as well. and it was too easy to guard the whole field with one guy, u could take ur strong safety and essentially guard the whole field just by roaming from guy to guy starting deep.these were all things i figured out on the 360 but work on the ps2 AS well.oh and the fact that any Wr no matter how slow he is can beat the fastest most aware corners downfield if u throw the ball right. i killed my friend with that and the only way to stop it isby playing user d and even then its hard to stop because i dont know about u but im a beast at user catches.its also easy to get onside kicks back, i played this one dude who got 4 out of 4 onisde kicks back and after the game he told me how to do it and i was like thats cheesy. u have like a 75% chance of getting the bal back on an onside kick if when u start the directional meter and when it reaches the far inside of the field you stop it and then start the power meter and let it stop it self and you'll kick it the ball will bounce up in the ari giving you a hella chance to get it back, most of these things can be stopped by being the user bhut some peopple suck at maunally controlling the guys.
I hope the new run to daylight feature works well with the whole lead blockibg business. i mean if the ai sucks then when ur going to throw a block he may either follow it properly or go the wrong way of when u intended to make a path thus making the featurre worthless. the highligh stick looks amazing, i saw some sweet ass moves/animations when i watched a video last night.the mini games are going to be cool,like hw if a guy gets injured in ur franchise u can try and wor him back to return early by doing the some of the drills but if u push him to hard it will come up in the "pip" window and if u go overboard u risk extending his injury time. do it right get the back early mess it up and ur screwed.supposed they bumped up the d line AI and the secondary as well.they said now when u bump with a big corner they can actually know them off their routes adn u actually get good safety help,we'll have to see about that.

Does Madden 06 lag online?? Because I have NCAA 2007 and it can get laggy and other people have complained of this as well on the gamefaqs website so I know it is not my connection. Plus I have a DSL service that gives me 80 kbs up and 600 down so I am set there and shouldn't be lagging on my end

yeh it lags, more of latency than lag but u can run into an occasional bad game it seemed like when i first got m 360 madden never lagged but nowadays its always having slow issues even if our connections both have 3 bars
