Connecting Sharp mobile to PC with bluetooth, help needed

Recently upgraded to a Sharp 770SH and bought a USB bluetooth dongle.
Installed the BT driver and windows found it and installed ok, and it seems to work ok, a search on PC finds BT devices, ie the mobile and also my tomtom.
A search on the mobile also finds the PC too so I assume the BT is working ok.

But when I install & run the handset manager software that came with the phone and try to run file manager to send games, ringtones etc to the phone, it says at the bottom "attempting to connect to handset" and this stays indefinately, it just wont connect to the mobile..

Been playing for a few days now and just cant get it to connect..
Anyone got any ideas how I can get it to work???
