here are the common mistakes made when buring your game
1) Buring .iso or .000: Make sure you select the .dvd file in clone cd
2) No booktype change: Make sure your dvd drive is set to dvd-rom using DVDinfo Pro.
3) Not using Verbatims DVD+R DL: USE EM!
4) Xbox not hacked: hopefully you already have the hack installed... or you've got a lot of reading ahead of you tongue.gif
5) Burned too fast or too slow: Set your burner to 2.4x not 1x not 8x.... 2.4x.
Make sure you are not doing any of the above.

honestly does it matter what kind of dvd burner i use? i changed the settings in Nero and im trying to burn with cdclone but i already ruined 3 dvds.
Everytime i burn a dvd with clone, it only writes like 50% of it, (??) i dont get it.
I can go buy another burner if thats what i need. i have the sony Dru 820 or something like that.
thanx

Nero doesn't work. You may need a new burner. Also you have to make sure you set the book type to DVD-ROM in DVD Info before you burn with CloneCD.

Do i need a hacked 360 to read a burned 360 game on a DVD+R DL or is there a way it will read them without flashing the drive?

there is NO way. You need to flash it. VERY simple if you have the right tools and the right drivers.

Blimey, so are you saying that Microsoft have tried to prevent the modified firmware from being installed?
The zip file only showed the .000 file. Wehn I extracted the file the .dvd was in the folder. Burned successfully.

I have the lastest dashboard and I can play backups fine. So if this is the case I guess older 360s are going to jump in value.
