DVD won't play in PS2?

I burn my DVDs in Nero 7 Ultra Edition but they won't play in my PS2. Why is this? It always says "TV System Doesn't Match".

You need to choose either PAL format (European), or NTSC (Americas) for it to work on your TV. Depends on where you live, although newer tvs shouldn't matter.
