No you cannot the most the psp can support is 4gb with the compact flash card, or anything for that matter. Newew firmware releases are supposed to supporty 8gb tho. I bet itll happen when sony releases the firmware that can emulate psx games as some of those games are huge.

no ps1 game is bigger than 700mb, as they must be burnt to cds for the ps1 which only had a cdreader. and 700mb is smaller than many of the isos ive heard of.

I never said it was over 700mb, just huge. Most psp games can have stuff ripped out to accomodate the people with smaller memsticks. Hell ive got a couple games that are smaller then 50 MB. If you take two psx games and put them on your memory card its prolly gonna take up more then a gigabyte of space. But when sony releases the newer firmware that can emulate psx games thats when im willing to bet they will change how many GB's of space the psp can support. Wouldnt 8gb or more of space be sweet for the psp?

yeh true sony will defo allow more space than 4gb, i think thwey mentioned that when they said plans of 4gb and 8gb new sticks, i reckon there will be a hack and a compression tool for ps1 games and maybe ripkits

Yeah i was just going to say I bet there will be support for zipped roms or somethin. I think zipped rom support would be better then ripkits as u can compress roms with a pretty good file to compression ratio.

God how I would love to be able to use that 8gb card for psp. Has anyone here tried to use more then 4gb on their psp. I wish humma kavula would come back on the scene. but whos to say he didnt change to his name to booster or any of these other badass devs on the scene currently. I doubt it but that would be pwnage.
