Try using Azureus, I first used bitcomet, then I switched to abc, but now I'm using Azureus and trust me it works a lot better. It doesnt get those gay connection errors or anything, I'm even using a new netgear router which doesnt let you do jack, but I can still use this program a full power, so I'd recommend you give it a try, its worth it

It might be the router. First I tried bittorrent (its a pain to get working with any router) then I tried Azureus and I only got speeds around 3 kbps and then I got bitcomet and it works fine with average speeds of 60 kbps.

Uhhh, 50k's isnt slow. You pretty much max out around there unless you get lucky and get going like 100k but most people actually download slower than 50. What kind of router do you even have?

Hehe, I saw 724 Kb/s a few days ago...
Dump BC, it stinks. I'm not even providing support for it anymore. Try uTorrent or Azureus, post back, and I'll help you from there.

The (not accurate, but close) conversion is 80-100k per 1Mb of connection.
So really, on a 3Mbit connection you should see at least 240k maximum (on a well seeded torrent.)
