Video before menu display - How?

I need some guidance as to how to burn a dvd with a video clip running prior to the menu being presented. I am running Nero 7.2.3.2b which could be part of my problem, but really I can't figure out how to do this. I have looked at Nero Vision and I have looked at Nero ROM. If anyone can help guide me I'd appreciate it.

If you are on the Menu Select page in NV4, try hitting the more button. There are additional navagational choices there. Maybe between there and the Automatization options you can get what you want.

So that I could comment on 7.2.3.2b, I tried it to burn 3 AVI flies which I had successfully burned using version 7.0.8.2, sadly each burn was unsatisfactory so I reverted to 7.0.8.2, tried them again with success?my conclusion..7.2.3.2b was a failure when it comes to burn AVI files.

I did the following, uninstalled 7.2.3.2b, ran this clean tool
http://ww2.nero.com/nero7/enu/Nero7_CleanTool.html and then installed 7.0.8.2 from here

Thanks Gwendolin. I uninstalled and installed the version you recommended, but Nero still isn't doing what I want. Actually, it is doing what I want, but it leaves the clip I play at start up on the menu when the menu gets displayed. This is not what I would expect. I would expect that the clip plays and then at the end the menu with selections for the rest of the DVD is presented WITHOUT a selection for the clip that was just played. If anyone knows how to get the startup clip out of the menu, that would be great!
