All can really say is don't go cheap. Not really sure what the best brand(s) would be.

I think he means the ones who are about .75 cents less. Its just not worth it. Stick with Verbatim, pay the extra money and you won't have any problems. Don't go cheap and buy crap Dl like Dysaon or Playo or other bargains found on the supermediastore or meritline.

In my opinion and from what i've read,verbatim remains one among the best in medias.I've never used verbatim DLs but apparently they are the best you can get,they are made in Singapore(if i'm correct).To use the + or - format depends whether your burner can booktype.If it can,then you better go with the +R format.It offers better compatibility on players as well as on game consoles.

Verms i would also say is the best!! but i have had a lot of joy with tuff disc x4 for ps2 backups and tuff 2.4 DL+ for the x box 360 and they are a bit cheaper

What I meant was stick with well known brands, and stay away from brands nobodys ever heard of that are 50 cents less.

Better spend some more cents and sure to have the best quality,most reliable and durable game backups.I know some people who used cheap medias to backup their favourite movies and one good day when they decided to view these movies,by their great surprise most of the movies they burned on these cheap medias were unreadable,not even in their drive they used to make the burn.

So if you want excellent quality backup of your games or movies and don't want any surprise of disappearance(if we can call it like that),then stick to good media.It's for your own good!
