I'm getting pissed off over here.....

How the hell can I play this game??

I've tried Fastloader 0.7, UMD Emulator 0.8c and Dev Hook .44..

And it still won't run!!

I have an original 1.50, I've upgraded to 2.00 a few times, but I've also made the downgrades....

With Devhook, when I click on the start selection, the mem card light flashes for a bit, then it just freezes...

Any help is appreciated!! TIA!

Hmmmm... I can't edit my own message, so I'll add a new one....

I read somewhere that with the first release of DevHook .44, you had to move some files around??

I got the full package (according to the name on the .zip), do I still need to move these files?

I ran the UMD on a 1.50 with RunUMD no problem and the ISO with UMD Emulator 0.8c.

Use DevHook 0.44

What settings are you using?

You should have the folder "dh" in the root of your memory stick, and the folders SCE_DH_ENG and %_SCE_DH_ENG in your PSP\GAME directory.

Which clockspeed are you using? DevHook can only launch with 222MHz or less (333 will not work).

Do you have a UMD inserted?

Ok..... I finally got this to work!! yay to me!

This is what I did...

After reading a bit more, it turns out that the files that supposedly needed to be moved, were inside the 2.71 firmware.. And all this time, I was trying the 2.60 firmware...

So I changed the FW to 2.71 from the devhook menu, clicked start, and VIOLA... Madden 06 finally ran for the 2nd time on my PSP!!! (1st time was because I borrowed the original UMD from a friend :) )


MEMNOCK: You successfully ran madden (the .iso, not the original UMD) using 0.8c???? Wow, I was never able to do it... It would always freeze on my psp...

Yeah, he used UMD Emulator RunUMD edition. Not the normal UMD Emulator

Using DevHook is much better as you can use WIFI.
