am i doing something wrong?

i connected everything,and the 360 has no power,it won't turn on at all,just to know,the power unit's light is orange...

please help,i connected everything according to the manual,but when i press the round on button on the front of the 360 it does not turn on...?

ah crap...never mind,i'm such an idiot,i did not realize that i have to hit teh big x button on teh controller to turn it on...pheww...it workds just fine,but damn the 360 gets hot fast!!!

Lol your not the only one.I got mine just a little while ago and I couldn't figure out how to get the damn tray to pop out so I could play a game.For me 360 took a while to get used to Like for instance if you leave for like 5 minutes and come back you'll find the controller non responsive.Just press the controller button and hold for a sec and it will come back lol.

thanx that's good to know...by the way,is everyone's 360 too hot? even with teh intercooler...? i mean it has 3 cpu cores and a very powerfull gpu,by all means,the 360 should have a fan above each cpu and then one more fan to blow hot air out the case...but know it only has two random fans,and nothing above the cpu...when i turn on my 360,the fans blow out cool air for about 60secs and then the air that comes out is very hot! probably like 50 degrees(celcuis)...it's crazy man.My ps2 only has one fan and it always blows out cold air... :(

360's are notoriously hot.It's sounds bad but I'm just speaking the truth.It's alot of "pop" for such a tiny case and you wonder how they even pull it off.Most pc's with those specs have liquid cooling on top of fans and a bigger more "air flow" like case.

I hope it's not a real problem.If you smell a smoky like smell coming from it take that b!tch back and exchange it.
