i have an ipod video and the lcd has a small crack in the upper right hand corner (the rest still works)(this doesnt concern me much), also the wors part is that the hard drive is !!GONE!!
i was wondering if anyone might know were i might be able to get replacements cheap or if its just worth more to disect and sell ipod for parts (batery, mail board..ect.) or just buy a new one??

All depends on what you call cheap, the hardrive and the screen are easily the most valuable parts to your iPod, the hardrive being the more valuable of the two. If you just type in a search for iPod repairs in Google you'll find tons of results and buying the parts and installing them yourself will be cheaper if you're comfortable with doing that.

as i said before i dont care bout the screen cuz its just the corner but i need a new harddrive bad! i can install it myself. but have no idea were 2 buy

im not cuz my screen was cracked and they said it was physical damage so they wont fix it! It got cracked when it was in my pocket with a lot of stuff and i fell off my skateboard. The hard drive still worked for another month and a half after that!
