i downloaded tales of destiny using bittorrent. I got 3 rar files for each cd..when i unrar cd1 i got the following files:
cd1.img
cd1.sub
cd1.ccd
cd1.cue

i tried Nero burning the img file, it did not play on my ps2, using clonecd burning the ccd file..still it didn't play..the file is NTSC so is my TV/PS2 and my ps2 is modded..i never had problems playing other games that i downloaded and burned..so how do i burn this? your help will be greatly appreciated.thanks

First of all you can't talk about "downloaded" games cos that's illegal... BUT backups are perfectly ok cos you own the original copy :)

I've never tried that game on my PS2 so I'm not sure but have you tried the game on your PC using ePSXe or pSX (emulator for PS1) to see if they work? Could be a bad burn or something, and best way is to check on your PC using an emulator

thats weird, i used Nero express and burned at 2x and it works perfect (amd my cd brand isnt even really good) maybe its the file, or maybe just try it on an old playstation (i need to do that for chrono cross)

i finally i got it working..by the way i do own the original cd but it got scratched and now the game hangs in some places and im close to completing the game that's why i decided to download a backup..thanks for the replies i really do appreciate it
