Please help. xbox 360 drive is not recognized. the information for my VIA 6421 card is as follows.

VIA VT6421 RAID CONTROLLER
VIA TECHNOLOGIES, INC.

0X0000FED0-0X0000FEDF
0X0000FEC0-0X0000FECF
0X0000FEB0-0X0000FEBF
0X0000FEA0-0X0000FEAF
0X0000FEE0-0X0000FEFF
0X0000FF00-0X0000FFFF

I have edited the the portion in the mtkflash to reflect 06114932, but have no idea what the remaining portion would be or how to figure out which is the 7 figure difference for the I/O as the F001 7001 does not work on recognizing my drive. Please help!!!!!!!! I HAVE SEEN EXAMPLES OF I/0 FIGURES WITH DIGITS BUT MINE ARE ALL IN LETTERS, SO I DO NOT KNOW HOW TO FIGURE OUT WHICH HAVE A 7 FIGURE DIFFERENCE.

dont know if this will help ya much but I have a VIA SATA controller on mine and to get it to work I used my SATA Hard driver hooked up to SATA2 and 360 Samsung drive on 1 and left the xbox 360 off while the PC loaded into Dos from my USB Pen drive (otherwise it would lock up during detection of the SATA devices in the BIOS and would say there was an error and the SATA BIOS couldnt be loaded) and then when at dos prompt I unpluged the power to my SATA Hard Drive and powered on my 360. then when I loaded the flash utility to backup my drive and reflash it it worked fine.

Also did this same process for loading into windows with the drive for backups. I left 360 powered off till it got past loading the SATA Bios then powered it on just before loading windows and it was all set. dont know why the bios doesnt want to see it but this is how I got mine to get past that point.

Let me know if this works for ya...
