Nero editing problIem - jerky video

Downloading digital 8 video goes smoothly, but when I try to edit the video and burn it to dvd, the editing image is jerky, with video image lagging well behind audio. When burned to dvd, audio is out of sync, although video smooths out.

I suspect I'm not setting one of the recording parameters correctly; any help is appreciated.

Problem is in both Nero 7 Ultra, and an SE version I'm running on a second computer.

This could be caused by using poor quality media and burning too fast, what brand are you using and the burn speed used.

Thanks for the reply, but the jittering doesn't occur when we're burning the dvd, but rather when Nero is being used to edit (in Nero Vision Express, I think).

re burned dvd's, video is smooth, but there's a sound synchronizatio problem.

This appears to be a problem with the latest versions of Nero7, I recommend using version 7.0.8.2, if you have a version after this one I would suggest you uninstall it, run this clean tool
