Need help for downgrading from 2.50 to 1.50

hi, all, I try to follow the instruction from http://dl.qj.net/index.php?pg=12&fid=8607 to downgrade my 2.50, but it seems not working, for the last stage, the power light is supposed to blink for a minute, but my psp, it only last 2 to 3 seconds, it looks like there is no 1.50 firmware process on my psp.
I got the 1.50 package from
http://dl.qj.net/PSP-Firmware-1.50-File-(EBOOT)-North-America-PSP/pg/12/fid/163/catid/163
I really have no idea why I can't downgrade my psp, the procedure looks easy, but..Someone could help me out?

and check out the awsome list of homebrew apps. My favourite is WiFi Scanner. I find like 30 from a 2 minute drive home from my grandparents house.
Also install the 2.0/2.6 and (2.7 if you have latest DevHook) firmware. This will help you play newer ISO's.

It seems I can't play the GTA I rent any more. The system said I need the update the new firmware. Does that mean I can't play most of current UMD games for 1.50?

And also where did you guys download ISO games?
the site I download from, most of ISO games are Japanese version, and it is hard to understand so much Japanese before I study it..

Well, I did install the devhook on my psp, but it seems not working at all. Whenever I start the devhook, the psp will shut down in around 20 secs. I can't load any games by that, but I do have a UMD Emulator on my psp, so most of games can be loaded. GTA still can't be played,,I paid eight bucks for one week rent...

for all the newbie like me who are still doubtful in downgrading their psp's...I just downgraded two (2) psp factory 2.5 with mobo IC6001 a japan made. I've used the easy downgrader from PSP HACKS, followed the instruction and everything went well. now my 2 housemates r very happy they have a new 1.5 firmware psp's.I hope it will work on yours aswell.

Hi
I just got my PSP today with 2 games, wipeout and something else. Its got the 2.50 firmware on it. I'm really new to all this, but I have a few DVDs with PSP games and stuff on them and obviously I want to play them. So can anybody help with downgrading my firmware, as I dont know what to do and what file to use?
