I have installed the matrix mod chip into my xbox using Evox D6 Blue from the place most people suggested. It seems to be working perfectly (i get the blue xbox symbol when i load up) I want to know the easiest way now so that I can download games to the hard drive without needing to use FTP or any kind of connection to a pc. I am real new at this so I really need to be walked through how to make this happen. Thanks for the help.

If you still have the original Harddrive that came with your system (4Gig) you'll only fit like 1 or 2 games on it as long as Metal Gear Solid 2 isn't on your list. it's around 6G

There is a utility that will prepare a new, larger drive for games. It also has an auto-loader that copies direct from the DVD. I now have 47 games with around 17G's left on my 120G Maxtor 7200RPM

if you use the new slayers V2.1 auto installer, it will install HDDloader, then you can use evox to install the game to the hard drive. it's simple and fast. i'm not sure if slayers V2.0 has this but i think so.

if you get the auto installer, it will set up evolutionX for you. just make the ISO then burn it to a cdrw and boot from it.

I usually recommend XCommader for copying games to the hard drive. It is pretty much a port of norton commander. I personally love this program and I heard about it from the guy on techtv.

or you can use xbox game copy.

i personally like to ftp the game to my pc first, then shoot it back to the xbox.
that way i got a copy to make a backup of and also incase i need to patch or want to 'hack' any of the files...

just my .02
