Problems Dividing Movie into 2 CD's

I have successfully divided my movie into the first section, however when I go to do the second part, it goes through all the audio and video but the program freezes when it goes to write the output file. Has anyone had this problem .....

Would help if you would define what software you're using and in what format the movie currently is?

Software using is TMPGENC (the one recommended here) and it is in the format of MPG or whatever is created when you use TMPGENC to combine movie and sound... I have done exactly what is on the page that spells out how to RIP DVD's. Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds weird -- you 100% sure you have enough HDD space? (if you have 1.3GB file you want to split, you need to have an additional 1.3GB for the splitted files). Thats the only thing I can think of, specially if the first one was cut successfully.

when i go to do this I have about 6 gig free. So I am pretty sure that I have enough space on my machine..... Do you know of anything else that would do the job.....

I personally hate this tool's interface, but yeah, there is -- VCDCutter should do the job:
