As some people know, I work for various nonprofits doing outcome measurement work (as well as childcare/behavior modification/blah blah blah.)

Anyway, I've recently been thinking of neat statistical correlations I could generate using the GoogleMaps API.

Generically, I have a database of all clients for one agency, it has about 250 records. Each record has fields for things like name, address, income, ethnicity, family size, etc.

I'm looking for a way (instead of doing it from scratch, because I KNOW someone's already doing this) of exporting the fields into CSV or some similar format INTO a database which outputs an XML to the GoogleMaps API to generate the map markers.

Now...best case scenario, it would allow for editing of the records, and/or the ability to sort/display based on different criteria..say...ethnicity, etc.

I hope what I want is clear, I want to try to spot socioeconomic correlations graphically by using a mashup btw my database and GoogleMaps.

If anyone is willing to work on this with me, it would probably be a valuable piece of software (and shouldn't be too difficult, it only outputs an xml...), and/or if anyone knows any source that might give me a step-up, I would REALLY appreciate it.

I think I just found an AWESOME way to expand my outcome measurement capabilities.
