i have recently started putting cd labels on my ps2 games but the ps2 struggles to read sometimes. before i put the labels it was working perfect. Is it me or is it that when you put labels on your ps2 dvds, the ps2 has trouble reading it?

don't put lables on the discs, when you do that the discs become heavier and it might just be a small piece of sticker, but overall the increase in weight in percentage is quite a bit

agree 100% with above.
The labels, if they are full disc labels, will mess with the disc weight and cause problems.
If they are partial labels that only go over a small part or half of a disc then they will throw them off balance and cause them to spin slightly weird, just enough for your laser to have a problem reading them.
Use a sharpie marker and just write on the disc, this is easy, cheap, and will work just fine.

or if you absolutly must have pictures on your discs get a printer that prints on discs along with printable media (you can't just print on any media)

NTSC DNAS threads.

depending on how many discs you put paper labels on;; get ready for hell;;;;buddy!

Give em' a few months and they won't read worth a sh*t; this happens especially with DVD movies...

glad to hear it.
Yeah, printable discs or Lightscribe would be your best bet if you need to have "fancy" discs with pictures.
I just use the plain old Sharpie marker method, as long as they play i could care less what the discs look like.
