This will tell you how to get more media to work with your hitachi, and can only be done with the new 7in1 hitachi 1.2 fw.

when turning on the xbox with game in:

wait for the xbox splash to load, and 2 seconds before it goes into the error (it will take some time to learn the timing) press eject twice (half a second between), and wait a little longer ,the game will load.

when inserting the game from dash:

insert the game, wait about 15 second, which should be about 2 seconds before the error pops up, and hit eject twice, again the game should load fine.

It for works for flashed Hitachi drives. Samsungs don't need it, but a flashed Hitachi has more problems booting burned discs.
