Is it possible to have Windows XP on more than one comp..in a way that Bill Gates allows? If not, is there a way to "hack" your way through it to be able to put it on more than one comp? After all...if you buy something...you own it....and if you own it...you should be able to do whatever you want with it!

Of course you can have it on more than one computer... buy two license keys...

I think if you have the offical disks you can install them on whatever computers you want and just give them a ring and ask for a activation code...(i dont know if you accutally ALLOWED to do this but i think you are...if not just say you wiped your computer or something i guess?)

Ok is this legal:

I have an old computer up in the garage running XP can i use that Xp on my new computer??

Is that legal if i phone up will they help me because it doesnt work if you try it over the internet.

well its not exactly legal because one license key is supposed to work on one computer but i heard that u can just call up microsoft and get the activation key by telling a few white lies
